CorGrid® Industrial IoT platform will provide the edge computing and monitoring backbone for a new statewide flood early warning capability, delivered through The D.H. Collective’s award of DIR Cooperative Contract No. DIR-CPO-6230.
Corvalent is proud to confirm its role as the core technology provider for a newly awarded Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Cooperative Contract focused on Flood Early Warning Systems (FEWS). The contract, DIR-CPO-6230, was awarded to The D.H. Collective (DHC), a mission-driven technology company that assembled a team of Texas-based partners to deliver an integrated FEWS solution to eligible state and local government entities across Texas.
Under the arrangement, Corvalent licenses and supplies its CorGrid® platform — along with CorSense IIoT Edge Gateway Devices and related services — to Projexel LLC, the Round Rock-based Texas VetHUB-certified integrator serving as the FEWS solution provider. Projexel is responsible for the design, deployment, field integration, testing, and ongoing operational performance of the complete system delivered to end customers, while Corvalent’s software forms the sensing, edge computing, and real-time monitoring foundation beneath it.

That capability now plugs into a broader team effort. DHC brought together local Texas partners spanning sensing technologies, edge computing, IIoT platforms, emergency communications, field deployment, systems integration, and professional services — including BLCCS, Projexel, Install IoT, Valiant-X Enterprise, and Namauu Technological & Industrial (NTI) — to build a full end-to-end FEWS offering available through DIR’s Cooperative Contracts Program.

Through DIR’s Cooperative Contracts Program, eligible entities — including state agencies, counties, cities, higher education institutions, school districts, river authorities, and other qualified public organizations — can now procure FEWS technologies and professional services built on CorGrid® directly through this established cooperative purchasing vehicle, without a separate competitive bid.
